What you’re actually paying for

Anyone can generate a website now. That’s not the hard part.

The hard part is knowing what should be on it, saying it in words a customer recognises, and making sure every claim on there is one you can stand behind.

I go and look first

Before a line is written I look at who ranks in your towns, what they charge, and what they’ve missed. You get that as a short report whether or not you go ahead.

Nothing gets invented

Every qualification, price, guarantee and insurance figure has to match what you already publish. If it’s not confirmed it doesn’t go on. You should never find out what your own website claims from a customer.

Area pages that are actually about the area

Most local sites copy one page and swap the place name. Google stopped falling for that years ago. Each area page here has to say something true about working in that town or it doesn’t get made.

I am in Haslington, just outside Crewe. You can ring me and get me, not a support queue and a reply in three working days. The building is done at my desk, so you are not giving up half a day to sit with somebody while they type.

Things I won’t pretend to do

I can’t promise you page one of Google. Nobody can, and anyone who does is selling you something. The map listing usually starts working in days. Search takes months, and it depends on your trade and your town.
I don’t do the social media side myself.I’ll set the accounts up and point them at the site. Posting and content is Molly’s side of the business, not mine. If you want that doing it’s a separate conversation and a separate cost.
